Local formalities:
Acquisition of the NIE (Número de Identidad para extranjeros: Identity Number for Foreigners).
We present the necessary documents (the delivery can vary according to each person’s situation and nationality) and once the NIE obtained, we hand it to you.
Accommodation:
Before your arrival we will help you choose an area where to live in Valencia. Then you will be sent a form to fill in with the characteristics of your future home. You will receive the photos and characteristics of those that match with your criteria so you can choose. Before you visit them, Cosy Move visits the accommodation to make sure they fit your expectations. We will also accompany you during the visits.
A schedule of the visits you will realize one in Valencia will be sent to you.
Choice of a school/kinder garden:
The Spanish system is rather different from any other and counting on people whose experience studying in different countries is a valuable help for the children and the parents’ adaptation, indicating them how it works.
Thanks to our own experience, we know the reputation of the different schools and thus are able to recommend the best ones. The school registration can be included in this service.
Schools will be recommended according to the mother tongue and to their educative system.
Free time Activities and restaurants
In Valencia and its surroundings a great variety of activities can be realised according to the season of the year and to the age of the participants: hiking, horse riding, theatre for children and adults, opera, museums…
The restaurants have been selected in Valencia and in different areas of the Valencian Community. The rest will depend on the atmosphere, the kind of gastronomy and each person’s budget.
Car
Buying a car either new or second hand can be a delicate decision when you have no reference. In this case we take you to reliable concessionaires where you will receive a personal attention. Moreover we can validate your driving license in the case of non-european.
